If you knew that you could make a Cressida look this crazy, you might not have passed it up when you could’ve got it as a hand me down. Best of all, throw in that it’s a RWD platform and you’ll probably bubble with more regret. The owner of this Cressida hails from Hawaii, and it’s obvious that he has no concern for being conservative.
With lip sizes in the FRONT bigger than most run on their rears, this set of WORK VS-KF is not your ordinary set of wheels either. With widths possible up to 13″ wide with the KF and enough offsets to make a mathematician’s head hurt, there’s no way you won’t find a fitment that works for you.

You might remember an Acura TL that I posted up a while back. Thanks to the owner Jason K., who forwarded me some newer images he snapped.
Wheels are WORK Meister S1 3P in Matte Black (MBL) Finish. Sizing is 19×9.0 +24 (T-Disk) F & 19×10.0 +29 (O-Disk) R.

The guys over at Vertex USA know what running “real” parts is all about. Vertex is one of the most well known aerodynamics manufacturers for the Japanese aftermarket. Since their aero kits are high quality, it’s no doubt that their cars are paired up with wheels that are of the same standards.
Check out their site to see some of the meanest modified vehicles you’ll see stateside.

Since WORK Wheels is a Japanese wheel manufacturer, it’s not often you see them on traditional American cars (such as the Mustang).
With wheels such as the WORK VS-KF, which have a slight hint of American muscle influence to it’s styling, it’s a surprise why you don’t see more Mustangs (or Cobras in this case) with them.
I would like to see the car lowered a tad more, but the owner’s since parted out the wheels and selling the car by itself.
Actually, this post just reminded me: Check out this APR Widebody Mustang with WORK VS-KF in Black (BLK) Finish. I gotta say, APR never disappoints with their demo cars, always consistent execution.

Came across these pics of a Mazda RX7 (FC) from Colorado on WORK Emotion XD9 in Matte Gray Silver (MGS) finish.

A customer Rick V. sent us pics of his Audi A4 with WORK Varianza T1S in Machine Silver Polish (MSP) Finish. Clean & simple, the T1S is a good match for this car…just enough sport, but still enough luxury to turn heads at the valet.
It seems as though everyone and their Mom’s first suggestion when doing a hybrid swap is to “put a LS in it.” There’s no doubting the potential of a LS powered anything, but it’s hard to find those that execute it well (and some don’t even finish their build). This is definitely not the case with this Nissan 350Z (Z33), as it’s probably the most “complete” hybrid Z’s I’ve come across.
Hovering over the Project Mu big brake calipers are a set of Work Varianza T1S 19×9.5 + 24 & 19×11.0 + 22 in Machine Silver Polish (MSP) Finish.
Click on the source to see more pics of the motor and interior setup on this car. According to the source, it was up for sale, but not sure if anyone picked it up. Would be one heck of a turn key car, that’s for sure.

With so many finishes to keep track of, it’s nice to sometimes see actual pictures of the wheel to get a better idea of the color. One of our customers requested to see what the Machined Gloss Black (MBG) finish looked like on the WORK Emotion XD9. While I was at it, I figured I’d share it with you all as well, since it is quite a unique finish.
The MBG finish has a machined/painted face with a polished lip, and has the normal glow-in-the-dark spoke decal for a XD9.
It’s hard to come up with a way to accurately this color…as it appears on the monitor should be dead on. I’d say something like an olive grayish finish. Also notice the difference between the face of the spokes and the sides of the spokes. It’s all about the small details that make a wheel…
Note: this finish is discontinued and no longer available for the WORK Emotion series.
Rob over at Roadsterdrift posted up this S15 from Garage Mak Japan. White WORK Emotion XT7’s are a nice addition to the car, especially with it’s thick 7 spoke design.
Mmm, I like the GT wing…so obnoxious, but you gotta be rooflining it to make it look right. None of those middle-of-the-trunk wimpy wingstays!

The crew over at Risky Devil posted up this FC, located somewhere in Japan. The WORK Emotion XD9’s in White finish are a nice constrast against the blue paint of the body.
This is a well executed FC. I would like to see a huge GT wing on the back though, with wing stays that put the wing at the roofline. Maybe some Ganadors, but now I’m just being picky.
What’s even cooler is that the owner drifts it, rather than letting it sit idle. I’d love to hear what it sounds like…if the engine matches the looks of this car, it will be nothing short of amazing.
