I Put In WORK . com

is350sc1bp_01 The other day, Johnathan D. sent me these images of his Wald outfitted 2006 IS350. Wheels on the car are the WORK Schwert SC1′s in Black Polish (BP) Finish.

is350sc1bp_02 Fitment is a 20×9.0+32 F & a 20×10.0+28 R.  This is not a wheel fitment for those new to the IS chassis, but definitely results in a good sized lip, and nice aggressive wheel position.  Also, is that a WORK Wheels metal license plate I spy?  Keep up the good work Johnathan!

Photography was done by Andrew Lee.

is350t1s_01 Came across these snaps on Club Lexus of an IS350 owned by username “genki.” This black IS is sitting real classy on a set of WORK Varianza T1S in Machine Silver Polish (MSP) Finish.

is350t1s_02 Fitment is a 20×8.5 F & 20×10.0 R, with Falken 452′s 225/30/20 F and 255/30/20 R.  He mentions that the fitment doesn’t rub, which is an example why choosing the proper offset is important.  For help on offsets you can contact any WORK Authorized Dealer to help choose a fitment that is best for you.

motionmagazine4_00 Was checking out the latest issue of Motion Magazine (issue #4), which is the quarterly publication of Socal distributor Pro-Motion (thanks to Gabe @ Garage Keizo for dropping it off after the Spocom show).  Excuse my horrible scanning skills, but just wanted to extend a congrats to two WORK Authorized Distributors, Autofashion + Rare JDM. They were interviewed for the “Glitz & Glamour” article, which interviews 4 show scene knowledged individuals for their feedback on what it takes.

motionmagazine4_02 Freddie @ Autofashion is one of the top authorities on the “VIP style” here in the states. If you’re looking for advice on airbag suspension or tucking wheels, he would be the man to talk to. You’ve probably seen him and the Autofashion crew at all the shows, these guys will travel great lengths from their hometown of San Diego to add more trophies to their collection.

motionmagazine4_01 Zack @ Rare JDM is also another show knowledged individual, who also daily drives + tracks his cars. In fact, their team is known for tracking, daily driving, AND showing their cars. How they keep the cars looking like they do is beyond me, but it seems to be working out well. The G35 shown is owned by Zack, and shows off his set of WORK Emotion XD9 in custom powdercoated Endurance Black.  This ultra flat finish is offered optional by WORK Wheels USA, which I covered in a previous post.

Also, want to extend my congratulations to James Lin of Team Hybrid for his feature with the orange G35 with the custom painted WORK VS-XX. I covered this car a while back.

sageautocrkai_01 Sage Auto in Virginia Beach, VA sent in these pics of their IS300, which is shown here on WORK Emotion CR Kai in White (WHT) Finish.

sageautocrkai_02 White on white is a very common combo, but how about Porsche Orange on White?  These are the same wheels, except they later got them done in the bright orange you see here.  Not a bad way to take a classic and remix them with your own personal touch.

originlabs13_01 While I was searching for the source on the 86 below, I noticed (and remembered) in the same article there was another Origin Lab demo car with WORK Wheels on it. Since Origin manufactures overfenders, it’s no surprise they needed to go with wheels that could be customized to be flush and wide enough to fill them.

originlabs13_02 The wheels are WORK Meister S1 3PC in 18×9 & 18×10 fitment. The color choice of the Gloss Black (BLK) Finish provides a sharp contrast against the white paint of the car.  Not sure when these cars were shot, but I just remember it was a while back (at least it feels like a long time ago).  Still a clean example of two of the most popular drift chassis choices out there.

mikeshinae86 The other day a coworker was looking for some examples of Equip 03′s to quickly show a customer. While surfing the web I came across two great results. This ultra clean AE86 was originally shot by Mike Shin as content for the previous JTuned.com. The WORK Equip 03 wheels in Black Polish (BP) Finish really complement the car, being that it is one of the older era-specific Japanese wheels that are still in production.

superstreetae86 For the Levin fans, here’s one you probably recognize.  This is from a few years back and was featured in Super Street magazine. This Origin Lab USA demo car is clean, and hard to miss with it’s Great Wave Off Kanagawa imaged hood.  To show the other WORK Equip 03 color option, this coupe has them in the Gold (GLD) Finish.

trexxsa03c Came across this Campagna T-Rex from the Tokyo Special Import Car Show 2009, as snapped by NWP4LIFE username “Jdizzy92.” This 3 wheeled “vehicle” is sporting a set of WORK Wheels, specifically the WORK XSA-03C in Crystal Silver with the Black Anodized Lip option. Unique set of wheels for a definitely unique “automobile.”

vividracingxb Came across this quick snap of one of Vivid Racing’s customers, featuring a tough looking Scion xB. Nice touches with the fender mirrors and bubble flares, which hug the deep lipped WORK Meister S1 2PC wheels in Gold (GLD) Finish.

For more information on how to obtain a similar fitment as seen here, you can contact Vivid Racing.

civicequip03_01 The other day Bryant D. sent me an email with two of his vehicles that are laced up with WORK Wheels. Interestingly enough, I had already previously covered his concave wheeled Evo awhile back! Besides his Evo though, he also owns this clean 1990 Honda Civic SiR.

civicequip03_02 The Equip 01 & 03 series of wheels are extremely popular amongst the previous generation Honda crowd, due to it’s smaller sizing, retro styling, available widths, and numerous offset choices. In this case, Bryant chose to go with a set of WORK Equip 03 in 15×8+13 with a Black Polish (BP) Finish.
